Yeah, I went for work, but I had to play a little! In the Long Distance riding community there is a saying, it is to Plan the Ride and Ride the Plan. But, I have learned over recent years to play life by ear. If I had to get a number of miles in a given amount of time, that might be different, But, I've proven to myself all I need to prove. Now, I carry everything I need to cover myself in case anything goes sideways. I can eat, sleep, etc. on the road. So, leaving 6 1/2 hours late because of family health concerns, an overnight run to see my recently widowed aunt, melted saddlebags, horrific traffic, and even a hotel that charged my debit card for a prepaid hotel all forced me to be flexible and play life by ear. But, like any trip, documenting the good times helps me to remember. Normally that means by doing a writeup of the ride. That may still happen. But, for now, this video will have to suffice. Pardon the lack of sound for most of it and those you you who suffer vertigo, please hold on.
